Operations Lead – Ala Khutah Project

Jeddah, Saudi Arabia

About the Role

Husaak Adventures is the exclusive operator of the Ala Khutah heritage tourism project—a 470 km route retracing the Prophet's ﷺ historic migration from Makkah to Madinah. This is a flagship initiative under Vision 2030, targeting 1M visitors annually across a 5-month season.
We're looking for an Operations Lead to lead the execution of this high-profile, complex project. This is not a desk job. You'll be in the field coordinating vendors, managing hub operations, ensuring quality standards, and making sure things actually get done. You'll work directly with the Program Director and take ownership of day-to-day operational delivery so the project runs like a well-oiled machine.
If you thrive in dynamic, fast-paced environments and can turn plans into reality without hand-holding, this is your opportunity to be part of something nationally significant.

What You'll Own

Field Operations & Execution

  • Oversee daily operations across 3 main hubs
  • Coordinate logistics for walking expeditions, 4x4 tours, and hub-based experiences
  • Follow up on route scouting, trip testing, and experience validation in the field
  • Ensure operational readiness: vehicles, equipment, staff, safety protocols
Vendor & Logistics Management
  • Manage relationships with food vendors, vehicle providers, equipment suppliers, and contractors
  • Negotiate service agreements and ensure vendors meet quality and timeline commitments
  • Coordinate procurement, delivery schedules, and on-site logistics
Team Leadership & Standards
  • Supervise junior operations staff and set clear expectations for outputs
  • Establish quality standards and tone for lead guides and experience presenters
  • Build and maintain operational documentation: SOPs, checklists, run sheets, logs
Problem-Solving & Execution
  • Troubleshoot operational issues in real time: vehicles, staffing, guest flow, safety incidents
  • Ensure smooth handoffs between hubs, route teams, and experience activations
  • Report progress, blockers, and performance metrics to the Program Director
