Tanomah's name comes from the Arabic root for sleep — a reference to the cool, misty mountain air that makes you want to linger, to rest, to stay a little longer than you planned.
We find this interesting. Because what Tanomah actually does to most people who hike its ridges and stand on its summits at golden hour is the opposite of sleep. It wakes something up.
Two peaks in a single day. A sunset earned at altitude. Then a gravity cart, a long lunch, and the particular satisfaction of a weekend that asked something real of you.

Day 1 — Welcome to the highlands.
- Collected from the airport and driven to Husaak Centre in Tanomah.
- Check in — tent or hostel, your choice.
- A thorough briefing: the routes, the rhythm, what tomorrow asks of you.
- Campfire and dinner. Sleep with the altitude.
Day 2 — Summit and sunset.
- Breakfast (packed lunch ready). We head to Mana Mountain — the first summit.
- The hike rewards with views that stretch further than you expect.
- Drive to Sharaf Park for lunch, then the second push: Sharaf Mountain.
- We reach the top in time for the sunset. Stay with it for a while.
- Back to Husaak Centre. Dinner. The kind of sleep that follows a long day in good air.
Day 3 — A light close.
- Breakfast, then we head to Tabab Lounge.
- Gravity cart — a fast, laughing end to a weekend of effort.
- Lunch. A quiet review of the trip.
- Drive to the airport.
